Since its founding 70 years ago, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research has been a home for scientists dedicated to the betterment of human health. Our founder, Dr. Lewis Coriell, was instrumental in the creation of the polio vaccine and Coriell’s personalized medicine study, the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative.

Located just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Coriell’s Camden Campus is part of a crucial – and growing – legacy for biomedical research in the Philadelphia & Tri-State Area.

We’re located just a short distance away from Camden’s bustling waterfront, home to more than $400 million of development. Coriell is next door to Cooper University Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in downtown Camden, New Jersey.

Our Camden HQ is easily accessible via local Transit Authorities (SEPTA, PATCO, and NJ Transit), and via major interstates: I-76 and I-95.
