Participation in the Coriell Institute Science Fair is managed through STEM Wizard. Registration is designed to streamline the submission process. With just a few simple clicks, you'll be able to create an account and download all the required forms.
Follow these instructions to create a student account with STEM Wizard:
Go to http://coriellsciencefair.stemwizard.com to create an account.
Click on Registration, which can be found on the top right-hand corner. From there you should select Student Registration and enter the appropriate details in the form.
A. IMPORTANT: Please avoid using a school email address, and instead use a personal email address.
B. Choose your school from the dropdown list. If you don’t see your school listed, select the “1 – temporary” at the top of the list and send an email to sciencefair@coriell.org with your school information so we can add it as an option.
C. If you want to allow STEM wizard to send SMS/text messages, check the box to allow SMS/text messages and enter a cell phone number.
D. Choose the category that BEST fits the topic of your project. Descriptions of the different categories can be found on the Science Fair Overview page.
After registering online, you will receive an email confirming your registration and giving you a login link. This is sent right after you register, so check your email for this message. If this email is not received, please reach out to sciencefair@coriell.org for assistance.
Once you have registered on STEM Wizard, you will see your Milestones, and various other features like messaging.
Milestones - Each milestone MUST be completed by its due date for your project to be considered fully registered by Fair day. Due dates for each milestone can be found in STEM Wizard under each milestone or in the Useful Link Section.
Messaging - You will also see that STEM Wizard has a built in Message feature on the left-hand side. It is your responsibility to regularly check your Messages for any communications from your teacher/sponsor or Coriell. You must respond to your teacher/sponsor Messages from within the Message feature; responding from your email will not work.
As a student, you will only be able to send a NEW Message to the person registered as your teacher/sponsor. However, you can easily respond to and track Messages sent from the Coriell Science Fair team. Don't forget, you can always email us with any questions at sciencefair@coriell.org.
