Dear Science Enthusiasts, Here at Coriell Institute we are getting ready for a busy few months preparing for the 2027 Science Fair, which will take place Saturday, March 13. Additional information on the Fair has been moved to Stem Wizard. Stay current with important Fair updates by checking the STEM Wizard Announcements, Useful Links, or Help sections. Teachers/Sponsors - Register on STEM Wizard, where you can see studentprogress. Please note that teachers need to register before your students begin registering their projects. Returning teachers can log in to the Stem Wizard using the credentials you registered last year. If you have trouble recollecting your password, click the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the login page to receive a reset prompt. Students - All students will need to create a new project accounts will need to be created for 2027. You will need to have access to a valid personal email address (please avoid school email addresses, and opt for personal or parent personal emails). Each year, we are thrilled to showcase the very best of South Jersey's science programs. Bright, young students from Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties in grades 6 through 12 have the opportunity to demonstrate their passion for science in exceptional projects that span the sciences, including 15 categories.
Coriell Science Fair Grand Award winners advance to the Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair (DVSF). DVSF winners can advance to the highly-acclaimed Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
Participants in the Coriell Science Fair compete for Grand Awards in each category; the winners of these awards will advance to the next level of competition at DVSF. Coriell reserves the right to combine categories if enrollment is low. In case of combine categories, participants will be notified prior to Fair Day.
Students will also have the opportunity to win Special Awards, which are funded by our sponsors each year to award students cash prizes.

Innovation in Life Sciences Award One 6-8th grade participant or team and one 9-12th grade participant or team will be awarded the Innovation in Life Sciences Award for exhibiting an innovative approach within a life science category. These Categories are as follows: Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology
| Innovation in Medicine & Health Award One 6-8th grade participant or team and one 9-12th grade participant or team will be awarded the Innovation in Medicine and Health Award for exhibiting an innovative approach in the Medicine and Health category. |
Innovation in Physical Sciences Award The Innovation in Physical Sciences Award will be presented to one 6-8th grade participant or team and one 9-12th grade participant or team for demonstrating an innovative approach in one of the physical sciences categories. These Categories are as follows: Earth and Space Sciences, Environmental Science, Zoology, Consumer Science | Innovation in Engineering & Physics Award One 6-8th grade participant or team and one 9-12th grade participant or team will be awarded the Innovation in Engineering and Physics Award (this can include mathematics, computer science, and engineering projects).
