Donor was diagnosed with Type II, insulin-dependent, diabetes at age 48 years. She has a positive family history with many affected members. The skin biopsy was taken ante-mortem on 9/10/82. The culture was initiated using explants of minced skin tissue. The cell morphology is fibroblastlike. |
