(Standardbred horse) The thoracic aorta was removed 1 hour post-mortem on 2/27/85. The culture was initiated using cellsreleased from the lumen of the vessel by collagenase digestion. The cell morphology is polygonal. The culture was grown on gelatin-coated flasks, and the medium was supplemented with ECGS (0.02 mg/ml) and heparin (0.05 mg/ml). The karyotype is 64,XX; normal diploid female. Culture submitted by F Angelosanto (#0477). Culture medium: AMMC 20U (with supplements). Other cultures from this horse are AG08029 and AG08031. This cell line will only be shipped frozen. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
