The Disease Collection Cell Catalog is a growing compilation of cell lines collections that carry mutations in genes known to cause disease. These cell lines were created by introducing a point mutation in one of the fluorescently tagged WTC-11 clonal lines from the Allen Cell Collection. The Disease Collection presently encompasses disease models for cardiomyopathy, laminopathy, and skeletal myopathy, each paired with isogenic variants that can accurately replicate the diverse phenotypic outcomes resulting from the mutations. The number of isogenic variants differs between collections and cannot be purchased separately.
All gene editing and quality control were performed by the Allen Institute for Cell Science.
